What "National Geographic" DOESN'T see... Gestapo Penguin is out for World Conquest once again.

Yet another diabolical plot to rule the World. Ever wondered what Penguins do in their spare time when no one is looking? With snowmobiles, tanks, and a giant effigy of the Earth itself, these Penguins are set for life. They've already got Antarctica, now which continent is next?

The Penguins, Tank, and Snowmobile were all modeled by myself in Anim8or, a freeware modeling studio. The heightfield was generated in Terranim8or, an Anim8or plug-in, and then modified and exported as a .3ds with the rest of the scene. 3ds2pov was used to convert the files to the POV-Ray format, after which a few simple shapes, textures, one CSG (the crate) and atmospheric effects were applied. The scene was then rendered in POV-Ray at 1600x1200 resolution. Microsoft Photo Editor was used for JPEG compression. No third-party models, images, textures, or datafiles (except programs listed here for modeling and conversion) etc. were used.
